My Grandmother told me her great great grandmother was the first white child born in Gaspe Basin. Anyone with informaton on this ? Also that Mary Rourke / or O'Rourke (married name) lived to be 104/5 years old, not sure if she was speaking of the same person. Canadian family names: Cunning,Forsyth/Forsythe, Goldthorp /Goldthorpe,Harrington /Herrington, Kinsman,O'Rourke,Paine, Reed / Reid, Rourke (Rook),Tripp. Would be so blessed to have any information or pictures on those above who are related.
