My grandfather was born in the Gaspe area December 12, approximately 1886. His name was Francis Xavier Cronier. I have no information on his parents or siblings. While surfing the net I came across a site that should 14 rue Cronier and the current owner was Ville de Gaspe and 20 rue Cronier was owned by a M. Earl Rooney. Do you have any information on the Cronier family or the history of how the street came to be called Cronier? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Gail
