I am trying to trace the Savard family back to Mi\'kmaq tribe. I know they were in the area where the tribe was at the time. Would anyone have any information that could help me in this? One family member I have is Joseph Simon Savard 1689-1755 married to Marie Josphile(Morel)1686-1727, I have many more names/dates I could share if anyone might have an information to help me.
