In answer to question :
I was wondering if I had any relatives in Fox River or the area around Gaspe. My Grandfather was Edmond Gregory Girard. He ad several brothers Edon, Hilaire, Jerome. My Great grandfather was Charles Patrick Girard he was borne in 1830 and died in 1927. I have letters from Fox River from the 1930s and 40s so they were communicating then.
