Hello, my father Joseph,Nicholas Martin was sent to Maine from his tribe I believe Gesgapegiag when he was 9 to harvest potatoes, his mother, my grandmother Mary Jane Jerome,Martin,zumbrunnen stayed until leaving and entering Maine as part of the Aroostook Band of Mikmaqs then her final years in Caribou. I am looking for information on my paternal Grandfather who would have the name Martin. Any info would be greatly appreciated. It’s not for status but to fill a large void in my soul.
