I am long stuck on a variety of families in the Gaspe between 1825-1856. McGartney (with various misspellings), Hamilton, Fitzgerald and Fielding. I have about 15 baptisms and one marriage record during this time frame on the McGartney family (New Carlisle, New Richmond, Cascapedia) but am desperate to prove a Hamilton/Fielding connection during this time frame as well. I have access to the generic Drouin collection. Would love any volunteer help, but could also look at a project, given I cannot transcribe French.
