In answer to question :
Helping a friend who is looking for any/all info pertaining to an ORPHANAGE located « somewhere in Gaspésie » in operation around 1912-1913. Québec City police were called in to investigate child abuse and found one child dead and several other abused children. Apparently the officers were so moved by his that they all adopted the mistreated children! My friend’s father was one of these rescued children. Thank you for any info provided to fill in the blanks. Merci beaucoup!
