Hi everyone I'm a descendent of Fran�oise Grenier/Garnier and would like to know if anyone has new information regarding her aboriginal origins. I also heard that there is a Canadien wide M�tis association that covers all provinces. Does anyone have info on this. You will find that defining who is or is not Metis is a complex issue. Though a simple definition of Metis is the offspring of white and first nations there is much debate about how the term is applied. Good Luck
