I am a descendant of the SUDDARD and GAUMOND (sp?) families. The Patterson family has done a great job with the Suddards but the trail goes cold with Sophia Louisa Gaumond born in Whale Head (Tete a la baleine) Quebec. I would really like to explore this branch further. Sophia Louisa (known as Louisa I believe) married Joseph Eden Suddard and lived in Sandy Beach Gaspe. Eventually she followed her daughter Elsie S. Suddard (later POCOCK) to the Brockville area. I would also like to nail down whether it\'s GAUMOND or GOUMOND. Anyone help? thanks Ann
