I am organising a visit to the island of our ancestors (Bonaventure Island) outdoor event day on August 9, 2009. I would like to know if you can give me some help in contacting other members of this community and/or any descendants of any of the other families that once lived on the island. I am also interested in organising a photo exposition on the human aspect ( those who once lived there) of the island. The photo exposition would be in a café in Montreal in July and transferred to Percé for the month of August. The café proposed has accepted my idea and so has the SEPAQ. Would you have any ideas or photos that you could share to help with the realisation of this project. My objective is to unite the descendants and promote/ share the history of our past.
