My father, Gene Gillis from Wakeham, passed away in February. Since then I have started searching for my ancestors. I have gotten as far as James Gillis and Margaret McDonald. Where can I go to find out farther than that and where can I find a little bit about these people and what Gaspe was like when they lived there? I know pretty stupid questions but I am new at this.
