IMG_8697 - The city of Lezhë. The fortified settlement on Mal i Shëlbuemit dates from at least the 8th century BC.

IMG_8714 - Gocaj. This narrow limestone ridge runs north-west from here, where it supplies a cement plant.

IMG_8716 - Near here, the 1970's Gjadër Albanian Air Force Base included hangers in tunnels dug into the ridge.
IMG_8717 - The runway passes behind these barns. It is only used occasionally for aircraft stored in the ridge for repairs.
