IMG_1360 - On the near side, the Szilágyi Dezso Square Reformed Church (protestant). The Ottomans were religiously tolerant.

IMG_1380 - Bálna, the Whale, the shopping, cultural, and entertainment centre that we saw across the river from our boat dock

IMG_1387 - The Budapest Central Market Hall, in an old train station. Smelly things like fish are in the basement.
IMG_1389 - Hungarian goulash mixed spice. For the many local nationalities plus tourists, English is most useful.

IMG_1398 - The Liberty Statue holds a palm leaf, and the Liberty Bridge has "turuls", an eagle-like totem of ancient Magyars.
IMG_1402 - Danube River cruise boats. Sometimes the river is too low for the boats to come in, and other times the street is flooded.
IMG_1406 - The Elizabeth Bridge, Gellért Hill cave, the Szent Gellért Monument, and the Hegedüs Villa (a private rental villa)
