IMG_2705 - Solar clock built in 1690 by Giuseppe Piazzi. It is scanned by a sun image from a pinhole in the dome in #2708.
IMG_2706 - At solar noon the image crosses this line at the location of the proper date, marked by the signs of the zodiac.
