Allen Richards:

Recent Employment:   Allen has been back for 8 years now, and is the Provincial Development Officer for the network of provincial CEDECs.

Community Involvement:  

• Allen would like to see young people exposed to opportunities that exist in the region, and help dispel the "you have to leave if you want to get ahead" myth.

Other Interests:  

• He resides in Bonaventure with his wife Cathy who owns her own business and they have a daughter named Madison.

Advantages of living here:  

• "I've always been proud of being a Gaspesian and I can't really explain what the innate connection is that many of us seem to have to the coast, but it's real and I could never find it anywhere else."
