Tammy Barnaby;

"Now I see the importance of what I was 'sent away' to do."

Education:   Tammy went to college in Gaspé, then to Concordia University and eventually to the University of New Brunswick.

Recent Employment:   "I teach grade one French immersion and grade one French second language to the English students and I love it."

Community Involvement:  

• "I came home because I wanted to invest in my community and be close to my family, and also because I believe I can make a difference by living here.  
• I'm on the school board and I'm also a member of the board of directors of the Listuguj Mi'gmaq Development Centre.
