These are photos of our temporary workshop space at the Douglastown Community Center (the old St. Patrick's School at Douglastown, Québec, Canada)...

The basic workshop installation does not need to be sophisticated when working on "skin on frame" aboriginal style kayaks...
The table saw is useful for ripping planks into narrower strips but most work is done with hand tools...


The tables, designed and constructed by the students, were 4 x 8 foot sheets of plywood on a 2 x 6 inch frame with 6 x 6 inch legs...
A good sturdy screw vise on the table end holds pieces while shaping or drilling...
