I am looking for any information about my deceased birth father’s Mi’kmac family lineage to gather for my children. His name was Jeffrey Olcott. Adopted last name is Cairns. His mother’s maiden name is Theresa Mae Ward, she was born in 1933 and passed away in 1985 in Portland, Me. Daughter of George Ward and Lucy Newell. Theresa married Otis Edward Olcott, divorced and remarried Thomas Reginald Carmichael.
